Big thanks to our sweet friends, Amy Sorensen, and Jane O'Leary, for sharing their Barbie stories with us this week!
Here are the projects we discussed in the show!
Tracie's Layout:
I made this page in Canva, and then made a paper version below.
Read below to see why I plan to redo it.
The "Barbie" logo did not print in the right color pink so I'm off tonight to Hobby Lobby with this page in hand, to find the right color pink cardstock. Then I'm going to cut it out on my new Silhouette Portrait that I have never used but this is a good excuse to break it out. Also, I printed the Barbie pics on a thin Koala matte paper and I don't think they printed as well as on my Canon Luster paper I normally use. I wanted to see how they punched on this paper first and see if I had the sizes right before I used a piece of my Luster paper. I plan to make the bottom center pic larger and possibly look for a couple images to replace some of these. You never really know which images will be pixelated until you press print! This was kind of just a test version for myself. Also, I will likely make the background a subtle pattern because the white is not doing it for me. So I guess this layout is a work in progress but I do love how fun it is! This will be the title page for my Barbie album. I tried to choose mostly Barbie faces that look like I remember them.
